For a truly special Mother's Day book in at The Goring Dining Room within The Goring Hotel. Designed by royal designer David Linley, the award-winning restaurant is elegant and welcoming, with Swarovski chandeliers and a caramel décor. For Mother's Day 2015 they're serving a special menu, with three courses and a glass of Ruinart Rosé Champagne for £68.50 per person.  Guests can choose between options such as crisp fried cod chees with octopus and red pepper, smoked garlic risotto with poached lobster and cured organic salmon with fried bread pudding to start. Mains include brill fillet with crushed potatoes, rose shrimps and charred cucumber; Scottish halibut with roast celeriac puree, artichoke, hazelnut and truffle; and Acorn fed pork chop with apple, fermented turnip choucroute and cider vinegar. A selection of puddings and British cheeses will be available from the trolley.


Roux at The Landau

Treat your mum to the ultimate Mother's Day with brunch at Roux at The Landau, found within The Langham Hotel. For the first-ever Mother's Day Sunday Brunch, Chris King - protégé of the Roux family - has created a menu that reflects the Roux trademark style of classically-constructed French dishes with a modern approach. For £65, diners will be able to feast on a three-course meal and a champagne cocktail created by Artesian's Head Bartender, Alex Kratena. For starter options include smoked salmon, dill cream and soused cucumbers on sourdough; crisp blue prawns, avocado and spiced bloody Mary dressing; and soft coddled hen egg 'Benedict', smoked ham and truffle hollandaise. Mains feature salt beef brisket, rib of aged Scotch beef and roast seabass, and the dessert menu includes crème brulée and caramelised banana split. 


Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill

Bentley's Oyster Bar and Grill is offering a three-course Mother's Day brunch on Sunday 15th March. Served in the Grill Restaurant, you and your mum will be able to relax in the William Morris-designed room, which combines warm wooden flooring, blue leather chairs and original artwork to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The menu includes beef tartar with quails egg and chicken liver parfait to start while the mains menu feature roast sirloin of beef with all the trimmings, ballotine of guinea fowl with olive oil mash, and roast darn of plaice with spiced mussel broth. Desserts are equally tempting with amaretto parfait with coffee and walnut, apple and blackberry custard tart, and chocolate marquis with hazelnut and orange marmalade among the options. Three courses cost £38.50 with the option of adding a selection of British cheese with homemade oat cakes for £7.50.


Oxo Tower Restaurant

Both the restaurant and brasserie are serving special set menus this Mother's Day.

Combine an indulgent lunch with striking views across the city this Mothering Sunday at the Oxo Tower. Both the restaurant and the brasserie are serving special set menus on Sunday 15th March. The restaurant's offering is a three-course menu designed by head chef Jeremy Bloor, served with a glass of Oxo Brut for £65 per person. The brasserie, meanwhile, has a three-course menu with a side serving of live jazz and a glass of champagne, available for £55 per person.


The Water Poet

If your mum's ideal Sunday is a roast dinner in a pub then be sure to book in at The Water Poet. The east London boozer is serving a Sunday Roast and bottle of Prosecco for just £15. There will be the choice between 28 day fore rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding and horseradish, 5 hour roast shoulder of lamb with Yorkshire pudding and mint jelly, flash roasted half bantam chicken with bread sauce, and roasted forest mushroom and Oxford Blue terrine with sage sauce and Yorkshire pudding. Be warned though, this is for those who like an atmosphere as the pub is also screening the Six Nations rugby that weekend.

The grand restaurant and bar offers the choice between a two course and three course set menu.

The Booking Office Bar and Restaurant is serving a special Mother's Day menu on March 15th, with the choice between two courses for £35 or three courses for £40. The restaurant boasts dramatically high ceilings, updated with the addition of a 29 metre-long bar and modern sofas and armchairs. Guardian writer Sally Shalam was impressed by the ornate brickwork and arched windows describing it as, "surely the most inspiring new public space in London". The Mother's Day menu includes roast pork belly, herb crust seabass and spring corn fed chicken, while puddings are bramley apple and rhubarb crumble, dark chocolate tian and a British artisan cheese board.
