Both of the Rosewood London restaurants, the Holborn Dining Room and the Mirror Room, are serving special New Year's Eve dinners this year. The Mirror Room offers a glass of champagne and canapes on arrival followed by an indulgent five-course menu accompanied by entertainment from a live jazz quartet. The Holborn Dining Room, meanwhile, serves up a three-course menu before hosting an after-party with live music until 11pm and a DJ until 2am. Diners at the Mirror Room are invited to join the after party, which also includes a private firework display in the courtyard. Scarfes Bar will also be getting in on the action with a cocktail and canape party with live entertainment and access to the fireworks.


The Oxo Tower Restaurant and Brasserie

Both venues within the Oxo Tower will be serving special dinners on New Year's Eve.

Both the Oxo Tower Restaurant and Brasserie are hosting special dinners this New Year's Eve, both with the accompaniment of live music before DJ sets and dancing until the early hours. In the restaurant, diners can enjoy any three courses from the a la carte menu as well as any alcoholic beverages up to the value of 235, with an extra 40 as a cover charge. Live music will take place in the restaurant between 7.30pm and 1am and guests will be able to move through to the Brasserie for after dinner dancing. In the Brasserie, diners can choose between an early sitting or a late sitting, with the latter providing the chance to keep your table for the evening. Both options come with half a bottle of champagne, a three-course dinner, live music until 11pm and a DJ until 2am. If booked in for the early sitting, guests are welcome to move through to the bar afterwards.

Dress up in your best supper club glam outfit and head to Duck & Waffle to countdown to 2018 with the special New Year's Eve celebrations. The experience will bring together feasting and dancing with champagne, canapes, tasting menus, a live band playing retro funk meets soul and top DJs spinning tunes late into the night. Guests can opt for either celebration or dining tickets, with the celebration tickets including a welcome cocktail, a selection of canapes and entertainment with seating available on a first-come-first-served basis. There's also the option of a premium bar ticket, which includes a booth for six people, a cocktail, canapes and a bottle of champagne. Those opting for dinner can choose between an early or late dining ticket, with the early ticket including a five-course tasting menu and post-dinner canapes, and the late ticket including a six-course tasting menu, a bottle of champagne and a post-dinner dining platter of canapes. Tickets for the evening range from 125 to 325 per person.

Providing 'the ultimate view of the Mayor of London's fireworks', Hutong is the perfect spot to spend New Year's Eve. The restaurant will be serving a five-course northern Chinese menu of sharing dishes, along with half a bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne. There will be entertainment during dinner and after guests will be able to enjoy the fireworks and join the party on Level 31 in Aqua Shard, where a DJ will play until the early hours. Alternatively, guests can opt to stay at the table for after-dinner drinks. Dinner tickets are 345 and bar tickets are 120, which include a glass of champagne on arrival and a dim sum platter.


The Restaurant at Sanderson

The Sanderson's in-house restaurant serves an indulgent four-course dinner.

The Restaurant at Sanderson provides the chance to ring in 2018 in style with a tempting four-course dinner. Feast on Scottish lobster bisque to start, fillet of sea bass with braised baby vegetables or fillet of beef with red onion tarte tatin and wild mushrooms for main, and a Sanderson trio of desserts for pudding, followed by coffee, tea and petit fours. The meal is priced at 95 per person and kicks off with a glass of Laurent Perrier La Cuvee Champagne on arrival.

If money is no object, Londoners can book in for New Year's Eve at The Ritz, where, for one night only, The Palm Court will transform into a beacon of revelry. Guaranteeing a night to remember, the glamorous 1920s themed black tie event will bring together dining, entertainment and bubbles a plenty. Guests will be treated to a four-course meal created by Executive Chef John Williams MBE, with dishes include native lobster with carrot and cardamom puree, breast of partridge with beetroot and mushroom puree, and chocolate delice with orange. The meal also includes a glass of Krug Champagne. Entertainment comes from Elle and The Pocket Belles, singing vintage swing and modern say classics; The Lone Piper, offering the traditional sounds of bagpipes; and a 14-piece military marching band, who will escort you into The Ritz Restaurant for the after-party. At midnight you'll be invited to enjoy a fireworks display over the garden to herald in the New Year before dancing the night away to a live 10-piece band. There is also the option to dine in the Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant, where you can enjoy a six-course menu, half a bottle of Krug Champagne and live entertainment.

For a stylish New Year's Eve, book a table at the trendy Sea Containers restaurant within the Mondrian London hotel. With striking views across the River Thames and sleek interiors, it's an aesthetically pleasing experience all round - you might even see some fireworks. For 90 per person the set menu includes a glass of champagne on arrival and a pre starter followed by a starter of either roasted quail with salsify and white pudding, maple cured salmon with red cabbage and shallots or salt-baked vegetables with truffled cream cheese and honey mustard dressing. For main, there's either poached turbot, winter cep gnocchi or fillet of beef while pudding options are chocolate lava cake, floating island or roasted apple and quince. 


The Savoy London

The Savoy Grill will be hosting an early three-course dinner between 5pm and 6.30pm (75 per person) as well as a late seven-course dinner for 250, which also includes a view of the fireworks from The River View Room. Diners will be able to feast on foie gras, beef wellington, and vanilla and cherry mille feuille. Kaspar's Seafood Bar and Grill will also join in on the celebrations with a five-course meal while the Beaufort Bar and American Bar host parties with cocktails and canapes.

One of London's most renowned Indian restaurants, the Michelin-starred Gymkhana is serving a special six-course tasting menu on New Year's Eve. Choose between an early sitting for 90 and a late sitting for 110 and feast on dishes such as black pepper fish tikka, tandoori masala lamb chop with walnut chutney, tandoori chicken biryani and masala plum cake with rose kulfi. A vegetarian menu is also available and diners can choose to add a sommelier wine pairing for 65 or a prestige wine pairing for 95. Those booked in for the late sitting will also be given a glass of champagne and a Gymkhana gift bag.



Both of the Hoppers branches are serving Sri Lankan feasts on New Year's Eve.

Both of the Hoppers restaurants - St Christopher's Place and Soho - are hosting a Sri Lankan Masquerade this New Year's Eve, inviting guests to bring in 2018 with Sri Lankan cocktail, the sounds of Baila and a one-off special feast menu - they'll even provide the masks. The menu includes dishes such as ox cheek rolls with hot sauce, guinea fowl and Brussel sprout kothu, pork rib with Jerusalem artichoke crisps, and stone bass biryani with yoghurt and fish pickle. The St Christopher's Place branch is offering early sittings between 5pm and 7.45pm for 40 and late sittings between 8.15pm and 10.30pm for 50, which includes a welcome drink, while the Soho branch has lunch sittings 12pm and 2.30pm for 35 and dinner sittings at 5pm, 7.15pm and 9.30pm for 45.
