Birmingham Royal Ballet: The Prince Of PagodasThe Japanese fairytale of a lonely Princess Sakura, The Prince of the Pagodas, is newly-choreographed by David Bintley in what is billed as "one of the most exciting UK ballet premieres of 2014". This imaginative reworking of a classic fairytale comes with spectacular and imaginative costumes from War Horse designer Rae Smith and is performed to the only full-length ballet score composed by Benjamin Britten. These London Coliseum premiere performances by the Birmingham Royal Ballet are the culmination of the year-long Britten 100 celebrations.
