When Mimi is stood up by her blind date - her tenacity sees her wait for two whole hours - she looks to the audience to help with her predicament. Selecting one fortunate gentleman, she is rescued from the humiliation of leaving the bistro alone. Blind Date is a fast and funny fusion of improvisation, theatre and social experiment that sees a different audience member brought up on stage each evening. Following critically acclaimed sold-out runs in New York and Toronto, the play now comes to London's Charing Cross Theatre. Quick witted and devilishly cheeky, Mimi hilariously guides her date through a whirlwind evening that is a pure delight to spectate. Described by the Toronto Star as "a flight of theatrical fancy that is absolutely magical", it's the perfect chance to enjoy all the amusements of a first date without the embarrassment of taking part - unless of course you're the one who gets picked.... Book tickets to Blind Date at the Charing Cross Theatre through LondonTown.com.
