Bompas & Parr: Curses! The latest installation from Bompas & Parr, Curses! casts a shadowy light on the heritage and sinister powers of curses. Taking place within the halls of the Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, the month-long event will see guests equipped with a headset and map and encouraged to explore a collection of more than 88,000 artefacts, each with stories relating to curses attached to them. Narrated by Professor Roger Luckhurst, author of The Mummy's Curse: The True Story of a Dark Fantasy, and enchantress Carrie Fitzpatrick, the tour will cover voodoo dolls and the physical symptoms of curses and include a tale of the Unlucky Mummy, a curse that is thought to have sunk the RMS Titanic. Following the tour, participants will be cursed themselves in a special chamber that's designed to evoke the physical and subconscious symptoms of being cursed.
