Carnival Of AnimalsAnita Dobson plays fashion designer Mademoiselle Parfait in the Carnival of Animals, the orchestral suite originally composed by Camille Saint-Saens which is worked into a stage musical set in modern-day Paris for this Riverside Studios production. The piece, suitable for ages 6 and above, has become a firm family favourite with many of its melodies, such as The Elephant, The Aquarium, Fossils and The Swan, easily recognised. The composer is Gavin Greenaway, lyricist is Roger Hyams and director is Thom Southerland.

About Riverside Studios

Riverside Studios has a little bit of everything under its roof, including a cinema, cafe and studio theatre. The cinema is one of the few in London which regularly has double bills and there are also Saturday and Sunday matinees. Expect to see plenty of independent films, classics, foreign and experimental art films here. More about Riverside Studios
