Cheese and Wine Festival

Now into its fifth year, the Cheese and Wine Festival is an event dedicated to promoting high quality and ethical produce. There are plenty of highlights on display, including a daily quiz from stage host Valentina Harris, cooking demonstration with David Muniz of Chiswick bakery Outside Tart and a tutored cider tasting session with Ben Weller of Twisted Cider. Tickets to all the live demonstrations can be booked through the festival's official website. Companies will be selling a variety of cheeses and wines from around the world and there will also be cheese making kits, cheese-cakes, accessories and more. Visitors can plan the event around lunch or dinner and enjoy some delicious hot savoury foods made with cheese or wine.

About Southbank Centre Square

Next to the Royal Festival Hall and often used by the Southbank Centre for outdoor events and food fairs, Southbank Centre Square is an open pedestrianised space among the modernist concrete blocks. Overlooked by the car park at the back of The Hayward Gallery and The Poetry Library, the square also offers diners at Canteen restaurant an outdoor eating space. More about Southbank Centre Square
