Chiswick Book FestivalA long weekend of literary discussions with the likes of Jeremy Vine, Clare Balding and David Baddiel, Chiswick Book Festival opens on Thursday 14th September with a special Jane Austen evening at Chiswick House. The talk, with Paula Byrne (The Genius of Jane Austen), Helena Kelly (Jane Austen, The Secret Radical) and Dr Esme Whittaker, the curator of Chiswick House, marks 200 years since Austen's death. On Friday 15th September Clare Balding speaks in St Michael & All Angels Church about her Racehorse books for children. The Beatles biographer Hunter Davies arrives at the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Theatre at Arts Ed and Jeremy Vine talks about his new book, What I Learnt. Join Jo Malone, Nicholas Crane, Maggie O'Farrell and many others for enlightening and inspiring book talks.
