Dance Al Fresco
THIS EVENT ENDED ON THE 14TH JULY 2013
Nearby

Dancers leave behind the safety of the ballroom and take their moves outdoors as Dance Al Fresco returns to London's Regent's Park on 13th & 14th July and 10th & 11th August 2013. Since making its debut back in 1998 with an emotionally charged open-air Argentine Tango, Dance Al Fresco has become a much loved summer highlight, capturing the minds of picknickers and dog-walkers alike with a great line-up of professional dancers, including, in the past, Strictly Come Dancing's Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace. The shows are free for spectators, but if you're after a bit more excitement then get your dancing shoes on and join in with one of the ticketed dances classes: all proceeds go towards tree planting in the park.
About Regent's Park
Regent's Park is a huge, thriving green expanse in the heart of the capital consisting of two circular areas (an Inner and Outer Circle). At one-time a hunting ground for the ever-ebullient Henry VIII, the Prince Regent (later King George IV) commissioned royal architect John Nash to transform the land in the early 19th century.
