Given an extraordinary mission by the Prime Minister, Mr Justice Cyril Radcliffe has to travel to India, a place he has never been to, with limited resources, and draw a border which will divide the sub-continent into two dominions, India and Pakistan. With only six weeks to achieve the aim. A large-scale drama written by Howard Brenton, set during 1947. Directed by Howard Davies.

About Hampstead Theatre

In 1962 the company moved to a portacabin in Swiss Cottage where it remained for nearly 40 years. More about Hampstead Theatre
