With only six weeks to achieve the aim. A large-scale drama written by Howard Brenton, set during 1947. Directed by Howard Davies.

About Hampstead Theatre

The Hampstead Theatre has existed in various forms since 1959, when it opened in a Scout Hall and its opening season in 1959 included two new plays by Harold Pinter, The Room and The Dumb Waiter. In 1962 the company moved to a portacabin in Swiss Cottage where it remained for nearly 40 years. More about Hampstead Theatre
