I Can't Sing!Comedian and writer Harry Hill and composer Steve Brown present their irreverent comedy musical 'I Can't Sing!' at the London Palladium this February. The arrival of autumn and winter means one thing to thousands of people up and down the country: time to dust off televisions and embrace Saturday nights at home with the company of the UK's biggest TV show, The X Factor. However, with countless untalented auditionees and constant speculation about the judges, the show's gossip usually takes the spotlight. Acknowledging this factor, this new musical takes a tongue-in-cheek look at life behind the scenes of the television behemoth. Audiences can expect a talking dog, a singing hunchback and, of course, a number of Simon Cowell related gags. Former Eastenders star Nigel Harman takes the role of the music mogul while Cynthia Erivo plays the hopeful contestant. Double Olivier award-winner Sean Foley ('The Play What I Wrote' and 'The Ladykillers') directs, Kate Prince ('Some Like It Hip Hop') choreographs and Es Devlin (London Olympic Closing Ceremony and Take That Stadium Tours) designs.
