ICC Champions Trophy: West Indies v PakistanThe world's best one-day cricketers from the eight top one-day international sides gather in England and Wales this June for the seventh ICC Champions Trophy, with four round-robin games and a semi-final all played at The Oval in south London. Second to importance only to the Cricket World Cup, the ICC Champions Trophy features Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies - the eight highest-ranked ODI teams. Initially held every two years, the 2013 event marks the first Champions Trophy since 2009, which was held in Pakistan and saw Australia take the spoils for a second consecutive tournament. This opening Group B clash sees 2004 winners West Indies take on Pakistan, who are yet to reach the final of the tournament.

About The Kia Oval Cricket Ground

Though it does not have quite the same kudos as Lord's, The Kia Oval (known so because of a sponsorship deal, but usually referred to simply as The Oval) is in many ways just as pleasant to watch a day's cricket. Test matches against the West Indies and teams from the Indian subcontinent are particularly atmospheric, with south London's large Caribean and Asian populations turning out in force to support their heroes.
