Indian TreasuresA new exhibition at the Getty Images Gallery, Indian Treasures marks the 70th anniversary of India's independence from Britain. The insightful exhibition brings together a range of historical and rarely seen images that provide visitors with a look at the earliest photographic documentation of India. Items on display include a recently uncovered work by great Indian photographer of the age Lala Deen Dayal, vintage prints from legendary photographers Samuel Bourne and Felice Beato, and a series of remarkable portraits gathered from a four-volume album of the princes and rulers of India.
