InkRupert Goold directs the world premiere staging of James Graham's drama set in late 1960s Fleet Street, where a young and ambitious Rupert Murdoch embarks on a quest to hire an editor to give birth to a crowd-pleasing newspaper, The Sun. Ink is James Graham's Almeida debut. His work for theatre, television and film includes This House which had two sell-out runs at the National Theatre.

About Almeida Theatre

Along with the Donmar Warehouse, the Almeida is the most critically praised theatre in Britain. After Jonathan Kent took over in 1990, it had 14 West End transfers in 12 years, and early booking for tickets became essential - by the time the reviews came out, the run was usually sold out.
