Jessie WareSouth Londoner Jessie Ware supported Paloma Faith at last year's Somerset House Summer Series, the popular music festival which takes place in the neo-classical courtyard of Somerset House, but this July she takes centre stage with her own show. The Oban-born, London-based singer-songwriter has seen huge success with her music which mixes electropop, soul and R&B with her soulful vocals which have led to comparisons to Sade and Neneh Cherry. While she lost out to Alt J at last year's Mercury Music Prize, her debut album, Devotion, has been well received - "a record filled with moments that bring you to your knees", says NME. And she recently earned two Brit Award nominations - for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act - causing The Independent to crown her "the new queen of the Brits".
