Joan Fontcuberta: Stranger Than Fiction

The Science Museum's Media Space, launched last year, hosts the first major UK exhibition by Catalan artist Joan Fontcuberta this summer. Stranger Than Fiction sees Fontcuberta questions whether photographs can be properly trusted through a series of mischievous and intriguing images. Mixing fact with fiction and science with art, the exhibition will depict six independent narratives with deadpan humour. Highlights include astonishing images of mermaid fossils and reports on mysterious fauna.

About Science Museum
