KERB - British Street Food Awards: London HeatLondon street food specialists, KERB, are hosting the London Heat of the 2014 British Street Food Awards on 19th July at their monthly event, KERB Saturdays at Granary Square in King's Cross. There'll be all the usual KERB Saturdays attractions - but with some friendly competition to spice things up. You, Londoners, get to decide who you want to represent the capital at the finals which take place in Leeds in September. The full trader list for the day includes BBQ LAB, Crabbieshack and Donostia Social Club who'll be there with their Basque pintxos. Wash down meaty mouthfuls from Miss P's Barbecue with small batch beers from The Cellar bar, or try a cocktail by Manhattans Project. The whole area around Granary Square with its fountains, deck chairs and grass-covered steps leading down to the canal is a delightful spot on a summer Saturday, and this competition adds an intriguing element of foodie rivalry.

About Granary Square

The same size as Trafalgar Square, Granary Square is at the heart of King's Cross where the Eurostar departs and emerged as part of the 2012 regeneration of the railway station. With over 1,000 choreographed individually lit fountains in the middle, and historic buildings - including the Granary Builiding - surrounding it, the canalside square is a natural meeting place.
