Kenneth MacMillan: A National CelebrationThis autumn, the Royal Opera House invites six British dance companies to come together in celebration of Kenneth MacMillan on the 25th anniversary of his death. Kenneth MacMillan: A National Celebration will see the Birmingham Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Northern Ballet, The Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet and Yorke Dance Project perform a series of the choreographer's best known and most important works. The line-up includes a triple bill of Concerto, Le Baiser de la fee and Elite Syncopations; a double bill of The Judas Tree and Song of the Earth; and a staging of Jeux, Wayne Eagling's short ballet inspired by MacMillan's re-creation of Nijinsky's lost Debussy work.

About Royal Opera House

This impressive building in the heart of Covent Garden has been playing host to major stars of the classical music world since 1858. The third theatre to be located on this site, today's Royal Opera House is the result of a reconstruction in the 1990s (although the main auditorium is part of the original building).
