London International Mime FestivalSeventeen companies put on 120 performances over 34 days for this year's London International Mime Festival. Taking place at some of the city's best arts venues and, for the first time, Shoreditch Town Hall, the programme of events is made up many UK or London premieres, with artists from Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Norway, Spain, Finland and New Zealand joining some of Britain's fast emerging talents and established names. The festival opens with a very special edition of Gandini Juggling's Smashed re-imagined for 17 performers and featuring jugglers, hundreds of apples and crockery. Festival highlights include Compagnie MPTA performing Barons Perchés, Thomas Monckton's Only Bones, and Charleroi Danses Kiss & Cry - "One of the most touching and emotional experiences you'll have in a theatre" (Metro).
