Magic Goes WrongMischief Theatre, creators of The Play That Goes Wrong, join forces with master magicians Penn & Teller to conjure an evening of illusion and sleight of hand, charting the escapades of a hapless gang of performers as they host an ill-fated charity event. It's "love for slapstick" reminds The Metro reviewer of a time "when comedy was all about malfunctioning trousers and it was OK to laugh at the Germans" but "there's real magic to enjoy alongside the tomfoolery" (The Guardian). Mischief Theatre company, which has made a success out of failure, is also behind Groan Ups, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery at the Criterion Theatre as well as a six-part BBC series called The Goes Wrong Show.

About Vaudeville Theatre

Designed by CJ Phipps, the Vaudeville is the third theatre to be built on this site. The current Vaudeville opened on 23rd February 1926 with a revue called RSVP. One of the theatre's major successes was in 1954 with the musical 'Salad Days', starring Julian Slade and Deborah Reynolds. More about Vaudeville Theatre
