Mezcal Tasting FestivalOn a mission to bring tequila's less well known cousin to a wider audience, London Mezcal Week offers a series of tastings, dinners, talks and parties events across London and the headline event is the Mezcal Tasting Festival. A full-scale agave takeover at TT Liquor in Shoreditch, the festival invites agave lovers to book a two hour tasting session. It also gives them access to one of the UK's largest selections of mezcals, including some producers who have never been available in the UK before. From 4pm, guests can sip on some extra-special cocktails by Ojo Rojo at the downstairs bar. From 5pm, everyone can get into TT Liquor for free where there'll be mezcal cocktails at the bar and DJs - a series of special guests - providing the soundtrack for the evening.

About TT Liquor

Three floors dedicated to cocktails and a specialist liquor store, TT Liquor in Shoredtich converts a 19th century police station (complete with historic jail cells, still seen within the bar) into a drinking den with an intimate subterranean cocktail bar. Focussing on tasting experiences, cocktail classes take place in a range of lounge spaces on the upper floors (accommodating up to 170 guests), and padlocked 'deposit boxes' are also available for hire so guests can keep private liquor collections at the venue.
