Michel Legrand Remembered: Keep the Music PlayingWhat was to be a concert by Michel Legrand at the Royal Festival Hall has now become a tribute to the great French composer following his death in January 2019 at the age of 86. Ronnie Scotts Jazz Orchestra stages a celebration of the musician and composer in an evening inspired by his legendary 1999 album Big Band. Legrand composed Oscar-winning film scores for over 200 film and television productions, including the original 'Thomas Crown Affair', 'Summer of '42' and 'Yentl'. The jazz orchestra is joined by special guests Alison Moyet, Tamsin Little and Maria Friedman in a fitting tribute to the great composer and musician.
