Peter Pan'The Fonz' in US TV series Happy Days, actor Henry Winkler, is the dastardly Captain Hook in Peter Pan, this year's swashbuckling pantomime at Richmond Theatre. The villainous Hook and his band of pirates take on Peter, Wendy and the Lost Boys in a fairytale world of stunning sets, glittering costumes and audience participation. Winkler who has played the role of Hook to great acclaim in previous pantomimes says, "Captain Hook, with his sword fighting, singing off-key, and a crew that couldn't sail through a bathtub, is so much fun to play". Expect a colourful, participatory rendition of J.M Barrie's classic story.

About Richmond Theatre

The Victorian Richmond Theatre, which opened on 18 September 1899 with a performance of As You Like It, is one of the best examples of work by theatrical architect Frank Matcham. The interior is ornate, with lots of gilt detailing and plush fabrics. More about Richmond Theatre
