Propstore Pop-up CafeFollowing its launch last year, the National Theatre's Propstore returns for another summer in 2013. The unique pop-up riverfront caf/bar is built from stage sets and filled with props from National's store, including the House of Commons scenery and benches from This House, the spiral staircase from the Captain of Kopenick and the original train set from the multi Olivier Award-winning The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Open seven days a week, the kitchen will serve English street food classics such as pulled pork sandwiches and steak & ale rissoles, while the stocked bar has a selection of wines, Meantime Brewery beer and Sipsmith spirits. Live DJs will play until 2am at the weekends.

About National Theatre

Each year the three superb venues in the National Theatre put on a significant proportion of the world's best productions. From intimate character studies in the Dorfman Theatre, to grand spectacles in the Olivier, the National Theatre is the spiritual centre of the British theatrical tradition.
