Following its successful inaugural year in 2012, the Richmond Park 10K Sunday Series returns in 2013 to help more runners improve their skills. Starting on Sunday 24th February, the series will see eight races take place on Sundays throughout the year to allow runners to gradually improve between each race. Taking place in London's deer park, Richmond Park, the course covers tracks, trails and footpaths and allows for a good paced, traffic-free Sunday 10K. Each race includes chip timing, finish line goodies and a medal.
24th February, 31st March, 12th May, 30th June, 11th August, 8th September, 27th October and 24th November 2013.
Only 30 minutes or so from central London, Richmond Park is English countryside as you might imagine it depicted in a glossily illustrated Robin Hood story: mighty oaks, a thousand years old, dense forests, dinky copses, rolling hills, majestic fallow deer and burrowing rabbits.
