Having played three sold-out gigs at The O2 in November 2012, Robbie Williams announced his return to London in 2013 as part of his Take The Crown Stadium Tour around the UK and Europe. The Take That singer will be joined by X Factor star Olly Murs as a special guest on the 17-date jaunt which kicks off in Manchester on 19th June 2013, arriving at London's Wembley Stadium on 29th and 30th June. It ends just over two months later in Estonia on 20th August 2013. Expect old favourites and new material from his latest solo album 'Take the Crown', including number 1 single 'Candy'. Robbie's brand of commercial pop is clearly still appealing to a wide audience (tell that to Radio 1) with demand for tickets to his last four shows oversubscribed by 5,000 per cent.
The national stadium of the England football team, Wembley Stadium was re-opened in 2007 after a full rebuild to the tune of £757 million. The second largest stadium in Europe, Wembley took over three years to build and is located on the site of the previous 1923 Wembley Stadium, often referred to as 'The Twin Towers' or Empire Stadium, which was demolished in 2003.
