Royal Opera House BP Big Screens 2015Three of the Royal Opera House's most emotionally powerful productions are broadcast live on a giant screen in Trafalgar Square in a magnificent free summer event in the heart of London. The BP Big Screen series kicks off with La bohème on 10 June 2015 at 7.30pm, your last chance to see John Copley's award-winning production. Up next is Mozart's Don Giovanni on 3rd July 2015 at 7pm, an excellent cast includes Christopher Maltman and Dorothea Roschmann, with spectacular designs from Es Devlin. The trio is completed by a ballet. The Royal Ballet's Romeo and Juliet on 22nd September 2015, a classic of 20th-century ballet, Kenneth MacMillan's ballet of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers is a key work in the company's repertory. So, join friends and family, bring a picnic and enjoy world-class opera and ballet in an iconic London setting - all for free.

About Trafalgar Square

Lord Nelson, Britain's greatest military hero, and the mighty lions that surround him, pay testament to the position of Trafalgar Square at the heart of the capital, the heart of the nation, and, at one time, the heart of an empire that controlled three fifths of the world.
