ScreamfestThis Halloween, The London Dungeon is hosting Screamfest, its scariest event in 40 years. Billed as the ultimate Halloween event, it will boast the most stories, scares and special effects and see an extra splattering of horror added to the classic shows, including Jack The Ripper, The Great Fire of London and Sweeney Todd. Visitors will be able to take on London's only underground water ride, dodge the grasp of an escaped convict from Newgate Prison and brave an exhilarating vertical free fall drop ride. Additionally, the spine-tingling Sťance returns, during which guests will sit around a Ouija board and summon the spirits.

About London Dungeon

The London Dungeon closed its doors on its old Tooley Street home on 31st January 2013 (while London Bridge station is being redeveloped) and the new London Dungeon opened in the spooky underground vaults of County Hall on 1st March. New features include an up close and personal encounter with Guy Fawkes and the murderous monarch, Henry VIII, played by a high-tech 3D version of the booming-voiced actor Brian Blessed.
