St Katharine Docks Classic Boat FestivalClimb on board classic, historic and working boats, which are moored in St Katharine Docks next to Tower Bridge, at the St Katharine Docks Classic Boat Festival, returning for its 11th year in 2019. The annual celebration brings together 40 vintage sailing and motor boats including Little Dunkirk Ships, the heroic vessels from the 1940 Dunkirk evacuations. There will also be live entertainment as a programme of waterside activities including stand-up paddle boarding, a treasure quest and live music from The National Youth Jazz Orchestra. There will be food and drink on offer as well as an array of nautical stalls. It's all part of Totally Thames, a month-long celebration of London's primary waterway.

About St Katharine Docks

Opened in 1828, the Thomas Telford-designed St Katharine Docks was once one of the busiest ports in the UK, specialising in handling luxury goods such as sugar, rum, spices, perfumes, wines and tea. Today, central London's only marina has evolved into a thriving waterside community that boasts modern and unusual office space, luxury homes, and quayside dining and shopping.
