SuffrajitsuCombining original music, puppetry and some graphic novel style 'Ka-Pows!', Suffrajitsu tells the story of Annie, a young mill lass who travels from the cotton mills of the Lancashire hills to the big smoke of London as she fights for her right to vote. Inspired by the real lives of suffragettes, the 45 minute show, recommended for children aged seven to 11, shows that being small doesn't mean you can't change the world.

About Little Angel Theatre

The Little Angel Theatre was founded by John Wright in 1961 in a derelict temperance hall in Islington. Every type of puppet is used, and themes, styles and stories are drawn from a wide range of cultural traditions. The company tours throughout the UK and abroad and The Little Angel also has an extensive Education Programme, which works with schools and youth groups. More about Little Angel Theatre
