Launched for the first time last year, the Framed Film Festival is the Barbican's refreshed replacement of the London Children's Film Festival. Targeting a wider age group, the festival now appeals to anyone aged 4-18 and will give them the chance to view, make and dissect films from all angles. It's the cinema equivalent of going to the Science Museum with opportunities galore for kids to explore, touch and see for themselves. The screenings, events and workshops are bound to bring alive the art of filmmaking in all its guises. From getting to grips with what happens behind the scenes to stealing the limelight, there are workshops to suit all tastes.
About Barbican Centre
Described by the Queen as 'one of the wonders of the modern world' , the Barbican Centre has also been voted 'London's ugliest building'. Ugly or not, this multi-faceted performance and arts venue is truly wondrous. Open 363 days a year, it offers the most diverse program of any London venue. More about Barbican Centre
