The Great British Apple FestivalThe Great British Apple Festival launches in 2017, bringing live music, a cider village, hog roast, an apple and spoon race, and apple-themed talks to Shoreditch Park. There will also be a farmers' market, featuring some of the country's favourite market and street food vendors, a games area and a car where you can sample a variety of home-grown British ciders. Live music will come from the likes of Monroe Ferrari, Robbie Boyd and Elsa Chapman.

About Shoreditch Park

Originally rows of terraced housing, flattened in the 1940s by the Blitz, Shoreditch Park is now a small but well-loved community space. Temporary 'pre-fab' housing was erected on the site but was cleared betweem 1964 and 1973, creating the park. It regularly hosts a range of annual events as well as providing a home to tennis courts, a junior rugby pitch, a children's play area, a football pitch, a giant boulder for rock climbing, a volleyball court, an amphitheatre and a cycle hire scheme.
