The Radical Eye: Modernist Photography from the Sir Elton John CollectionA collection of modernist photography brought together by Sir Elton John over the past twenty-five years, with works by notable photographers Dorothea Lange, Tina Modotti, Imogen Cunningham and Man Ray, show the 'coming of age' of photography. And how artists pushed the accepted conventions of portraiture. Over 150 images, all rare vintage prints from the 1920s to the 1950s, show the works of more than 60 artists such as André Kertész, Berenice Abbot, Alexandr Rodchenko and Edward Steichen, telling the story of modernist photography.

About Tate Modern
