The Winter's Tale
THIS EVENT ENDED ON THE 20TH JULY 2013
Continuing with their Shakespeare productions aimed at younger audiences, the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre will be staging a reimagining of 'The Winter's Tale' this summer. Sticking with the play's original narrative, the heart-warming story has been re-imagined to make it suitable for anyone six and over. 'The Winter's Tale' tells the tale of a lost princess who has been raised by a shepherd and of her secret romance with a prince. Following her adventure, the audience will encounter a bear chase, a statue that comes to life, a sheep shearing contest and an unexpected family reunion. Book tickets for The Winter's Tale in Regent's Park Open Air Theatre this summer.
