Described as "the heir to Tracey Emin's throne" (The Independent on Sunday), Sarah Maple is among the UK's Future Greats, an exhibition showcasing new talent at the SaLon Gallery. The Notting Hill gallery's owner, Samir Ceric, has been scouring the country for the last three years looking for the next generation of top artists emerging from the UK's best art schools. This exhibition, a group show featuring eight artists, showcases the result. Alongside Maple's self-portraits are works by conceptual artist Steve Rosenthal, 'Queen of Craft' Sarah Gwyer and Korean artist Dorothy Yoon whose '13 Blondes' series is an East-meets-West cultural mix. There are silk screen prints by Jacky Tsai - which brought him accolades from Alexander McQueen - portraits made out of Guinness beer mats by Brian Fitzgerald, ideas of utopia from Pakpoom Silaphan and in your face images of Big Issue sellers by Oliver Jones.
