Venom: Killer and CureA major new exhibition at the Natural History Museum, Venom: Killer and Cure enters the realm of venomous creatures to look at their surprising connection to human health. Visitors will be able to get up close with specimens such as snakes, centipedes, snails and scorpions and see the world through eyes of both predator and prey. Discover the effect that venom has on the natural world and discover how humans have found ways to neutralize and harness it. You will hear from scientists whose cutting edge ideas have seen venom introduced to modern medicine; meet the insects with some of the most painful venoms known to science; witness the head of a gaboon viper, which has the biggest known venomous fangs; and learn about the unusual love life of the emperor scorpion.
