Veronese: Magnificence in Renaissance VeniceThe National Gallery stages a major display of works by the Italian painter Paolo Veronese from March to June 2014, including works such as 'Family Of Darius Before Alexander' and the 'Allegories Of Love', a series of four paintings each concentrating on a specific allegory. In Veronese: Magnificence in Renaissance Venice, approximately 50 works by Veronese offer visitors the chance to enjoy his magnificent works which beautifully capture the opulence of 16th century Venetian life.
