Wilde CreaturesA month after staging The Gruffalo's Child at the Lyric Shaftesbury Avenue, the Olivier-nominated Tall Stories present a new musical adventure for audiences of all ages at the Vaudeville Theatre. Wilde Creatures brings Oscar Wilde's classic fairy tales to life through imaginative storytelling and music and takes the audience on a fantastical journey through palaces, forests and beyond, meeting characters from The Happy Prince, The Nightingale and the Rose and The Birthday of the Infanta along the way.

About Vaudeville Theatre

Designed by CJ Phipps, the Vaudeville is the third theatre to be built on this site. The current Vaudeville opened on 23rd February 1926 with a revue called RSVP. One of the theatre's major successes was in 1954 with the musical 'Salad Days', starring Julian Slade and Deborah Reynolds. More about Vaudeville Theatre
