The Bedford's Winterfest offers an indie alternative to the usual Christmas shopping experience. As well as the festive market stalls offering an array of crafty goods, the tempting festive food - mince pies, mulled wine, and hot cider - and the obligatory Santa's grotto, visitors will also be treated to some live musical performances. The line-up includes Kit, Jem Cooke, All Things Considered and Azadeh. Further to these, Charlie Millar will showcase his quirky flamenco style tap guitar and singer-songwriter Sam Kelly, from Britain's Got Talent, will perform.
Its worth venturing all the way to Balham for this bar and club an uber-cool hangout with a buzzing, friendly atmosphere. If music is your thing The Bedford is the place to go to catch some live acts completely free of charge with soulful jazz, classic cover, light blues and some great emerging talent.
