Built in 1861, the Pump House Gallery was originally a Victorian water tower supplying water to the lakes and cascades in Battersea Park. Following renovation, the building now houses a contemporary art gallery, gift shop and park information centre. Following renovation, the distinctive four-story Grade I listed building now houses a contemporary art gallery, gift shop and park information centre. Attracting over 30,000 visitors annually, the Pump House Gallery is one of London's most intriguing small museums, and has forged a reputation - both nationally and internationally - for its excellent and engaging programme of contemporary visual art.
