A butcher, baker, florist and an arts centre ensure that Circus West Village has everything a modern urban village requires. On the western side of Battersea Power Station, connecting the riverfront with Battersea Park, this mix of 23 restaurants and bars, homes and landscaped spaces is the first chapter of the £8 billion Battersea Power Station regeneration project to be unveiled, in summer 2017. An imposing block of 865 apartments, at 17 storeys high and 350 metres long, the largest residential building is longer than The Shard is tall. Scoring high in the food stakes, eating out options include Fiume, Italian pizza restaurant Mother, a seafood restaurant by Wright Brothers, Ben's Canteen which specialises in burgers and wine, and Duckroad as well as the stylish No 29 and Dodd's Gin Distillery for drinks.
