Play sport, watch all the sporting action and kick back with food and drink at Pop Fields, the place to go in Brixton for a summer of sport. With an artificial sports pitch the 800-capacity space, which opens for the first EURO 2016 match, has a big 3 x 5 metre screen showing live sports and films. But it's not just about watching the action, you can have a go yourself playing 4-a-side football, mini-tennis, basketball and touch rugby. Local schools and clubs can use the space and host tournaments for free and it's also available to hire for special events. An extension of the Pop Brixton site, Pop Fields has two bars - local Brixton Brewery has set up a new bar for the summer - and street food kiosks serving up summer specials and halftime oranges. Open until 9.30pm, Pop Fields doesn't close till even later if matches go overtime (so you won't miss out when it goes to penalties).
