An impressive 450 million pound development in the heart of London, St James's Market is home to a sizeable 210,000 square feet of modern office accommodation and five flagship stores. Italian brand, Smeg, Swiss cycling clothing brand, ASSOS, Paul & Shark, and Jigsaw are four of the shops in the area and, in the pedestrianised part behind are seven restaurants, the first of which opened from the end of October 2016. The Salt Yard Group's Veneta is opposite Aquavit, an outpost of New York's famous Nordic restaurant. London ramen noodle restaurant group, Tonkotsu, has its premium restaurant, Anzu, here and Danish bakers Ole & Steen launched their first bakery outside Denmark at Christmas time in 2016.
