The Curwen & New Academy Gallery have set up a second gallery in the rectory of the Hawksmoor designed Christ Church in Spitalfields. Opened in the summer of 2009, The Rectory Gallery gives the gallery additional space and provides a home for their Northern Graduates 09 show which is split across the two venues with the main show at Curwen & New Academy Gallery, in Windmill Street, W1 from 6-26th August. This summer show highlights the best of this year's crop of art school graduates from the North of England who have been hand selected by curator Henry Walsh. The temporary Rectory Gallery is home to the second part of the show which opens a week later with private views Tuesday 11th August and Sunday 16th August. Due to the size of the venue attending the private view at the Rectory Gallery is by invitation only - contact the gallery on 020 7323 4700 to get on the list. Outside of the private views the exhibition is open by appointment only.
