The Met Bar was synonymous with celebrities in the nineties - Kate Moss and her clan were among the A-list regulars - and it still gets a fair smattering of pop stars, actresses, footballers and their wives. Now without its original member's only policy, The Met is open to all but still remains a classy destination to enjoy a cocktail. Also given a new look, it combines glossy black furniture with golden highlights while natural light floods through the glass wall. Come night time, the glass becomes etched to obscure the vision from outside. Cocktails are innovative while food is seasonal British classic cuisine.
