For 17 days this summer The Retreat transforms The Brewery on Chiswell Street into an exclusive venue from where you can watch the Olympics surrounded by all the luxuries of a members club. The historic grade 2 listed building is divided into 6 themed areas: The Park, The Great British Diner, The Club, Cinema, Country Club and Backstage Theatre. Whether you want to avoid the crowds and congestion during the peak hours, watch the sports on big screens, or party until 2am with the Movida crew, The Retreat has something to offer. Open from 6.30am, members can use The Retreat as a respite from a busy day out at the Olympics, as a means of entertaining clients or as a place to leave luggage, enjoy breakfast, catch up with emails (there's Wi-Fi throughout), and read the papers. By day there's Olympic action on big screens, unlimited food and drinks - The Great British Diner gives an English twist to the traditional American diner - and pampering massages, manicures and treatments. In the evening there's entertainment from presenters, personalities, music and bands as well as access to The Club run by exclusive London nightclub Movida. Membership is offered on either a daily basis (day members), evening basis (evening members), or a full 17 day membership (season members) who can transfer their membership to colleagues, friends or family by leaving their name on the door.
