The original Byron on High Street Kensington had a complete makeover in November 2019, 12 years after the burger chain first arrived in London. The re-design which features large communal tables and social spaces for brunchers, is to be rolled out to all of its restaurants across the country in 2020. As well as adding comfy sofas for laptop workers and creating an improved space, Byron gets a new breakfast and brunch menu available from Thursday to Sunday, 9am to 12noon. Chicken and waffles with maple syrup, French toast with coconut creme and a Breakfast Tostada, made with feta, corn and black bean salsa take inspiration from the west coast of America. The ultimate breakfast butty squeezes in thick cut bacon, a Cumberland patty, fried egg and Cheddar cheese. Bloody Mary, bellinis and a botanical booze free spritz are among the drinks on offer alongside coffee by local supplier Paddy & Scott. Byron's burger, the hero dish which started it all, has also been revamped. The beef patty comes with a mouthwatering combination of bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, Byron sauce and housemade pickles. Byron's famous skin on fries are back and they've added a secret seasoning for good measure.
