Daniel Wilson and Andrew Leitch, the duo behind the popular Dandy Cafe, the successful shipping container pop-up restaurant in London Fields, have a permanent restaurant with Dandy on Newington Green. Overlooking the green and close to Stoke Newington, Dandy has 50-covers inside with a further 30 on the terrace for al fresco dining when the weather allows. The menu takes inspiration from the Dan and Andy's travels, using seasonal produce in dishes like shawarma-spiced lamb belly, baba ganoush and cauliflower, burnt onion broth with spring leaves and hay-smoked labne and radicchio with blood orange and miso. Comfortable, airy all-day cafe by day... cosy, intimate restaurant at night.
