No time is wasted perusing the menu at Charlie Carroll's Soho restaurant because Flat Iron only serves one regular dish: steak, really good steak. Following his successful 2012 summer pop up, Carroll decided to venture into the world of permanent residency and opened his three storey restaurant. Decorated with butchers' aprons and meat cleavers aplenty, the restaurant boasts mouth-watering, chargrilled on the outside and pink in the middle steaks. The steak only comes in one cut, flat iron, and there's a menu of tempting sides available, including dripping cooked chips, creamed spinach and market greens. Specials are sometimes available, with options such as a deep fried Béarnaise Burger and Grassfed Wagyu Bavette, and filled to order hot doughnuts are served in their downstairs doughnut bar.
