Taking diners on a journey from Marseille to Portofino through to St Tropez and Nice, Folie in Golden Square draws inspiration from the dining and culture of the French Riviera. Created by Executive Head Chef Christophe Marleix, formerly of The Grill at The Dorchester and Alain Ducasee's Plaza Athénée, the Mediterranean menu provides a taste of the coast with dishes such as sea bream crudo with citrus and avocado and megrim sole with Menton lemon while sharing platters of whole confit lamb shoulder with basil baby potatoes and whole sea bass grilled in a charcoal oven are perfect for group dining. The bar, meanwhile, offers a line-up of classic cocktails as well as a selection of rare and unusual pastis and vermouths. Studio KO - the design team responsible for the interiors at Chiltern Firehouse - are behind the opulent interiors, creating a glamorous backdrop reminiscent of the 1960s and '70s.
